FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The Emmanuel Lighthouse UPC worship and praise God together in the sanctuary, with the instruments and organs and high sounding cymbals (Ps.150). It involves slow and fast worship songs, mostly contemporary Christian music, but our main goal is to have the Spirit of God and His Holy presence to dwell in our praises. We cultivate an atmosphere where everyone is free to worship God in spirit and in truth.

You will notice that our church community and families dress modestly. You are welcome to dress casually and come as you are.

There are Sunday School Classes for different age groups. Please see one of our friendly ushers to assist you with their respective room areas.

Attending services is a great start, but we hope you'll move beyond being just part of the Sunday morning or Sunday evening crowd. You can further your faith, meet people, and learn more about life as a Christ-disciple by joining a group, taking Sunday School classes, and serving or volunteering in the church in an area in which you're interested and gifted.

If you haven't made a decision to follow Christ and His words, but would like to know more about Him, you're a seeker and that is great. That means you're asking questions about spiritual things and of eternal values.
